Hi, my name is Jack Klaver and I originally started SimworX because, as I actively participate in a variety of motorsport events, there was no one producing what I want and look for in a driver’s simulator. With all of the fantastic software produced these days, an accurate high quality driving simulator that allows me to practice on race tracks that I actually compete on, is an invaluable tool. It also allows me to race against cars on tracks all over the world that I wish I could race on!!
Our Flight experience started when an enquiry came in from a pilot for us to design a combo flight and driving simulator based on the SX02 chassis for his personal use. The range has now expanded, utilising the technical input from a variety of real world pilots in order to end up with quality flight products. I ended up totally absorbed in this discipline to the point where I have applied for my own student pilot's license. Learning in a Piper Warrior, I have formatted a flight sim running that software so I can practise flight procedures in my own time. I can practise take offs and landings and stalls etc, using the latest Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Throttle Quadrant.
My passion has always been involved in motorsport and I have competed in Formula Ford, Formula 3 and Formula 2, Series Production Racing and Tarmac Rallies, such as Targa Tasmania, and Rally Tasmania driving a variety of cars including Ferrari.
Our aim when we develop our products is to re-create as closely as possible the environment that a race driver operates in, in a visual and tactile sense. A good simulator should enhance the quality software that is out there to-day. A simulator is only as good as the sum total of all of its parts, and we design and test every component until we are satisfied it is as good as we can get it. Development is always ongoing and future developments such as motion simulation will be supplied as an add on for all of our simulators. That way they will never date and those wanting to take it to another level yet again can do so without having to purchase a complete new unit.

I set down these basic parameters when I design a SimworX product:
-
It must be aesthetically pleasing to the eye
-
It must be practical to use for most body shapes and sizes
-
It must dimensionally replicate the Driver's or Pilot's environment
-
It must be Affordable
-
It must be Upgradeable for future developments
-
The materials and finishes must reflect the quality that is inherent in all aircraft and race cars
